Saturday, No Plans, No Texts. Now I Just Walk

1.3k

Saturday morning. No plans. No texts. Used to be that would ruin my whole weekend. Just sitting around feeling like everyone else has a life except me.

Now I just walk. Early, before anyone's out. The streets are empty, the air hits different, and for 30 minutes nothing matters except where my feet are taking me.

Loneliness isn't about being alone. It's about not choosing it. The second you choose to walk out that door, it's not loneliness anymore. It's solitude. And solitude is powerful. Some mornings I keep it solo, and some mornings I'll find someone to walk with and turn it into a proper social walk.
