Our guidelines help keep Walk With Me safe and welcoming for everyone.
Walk With Me is a space to make meaningful connections through walking in a safe, inclusive, and respectful way. To foster healthy communities and positive experiences, we hold our members accountable for how they treat each other.
Our Community Guidelines help keep our walkers safe. They make it clear what content and conduct is not acceptable (on our walking community app, during walks, and in related interactions).
Profile Guidelines
Age
You must be at least 18 years old to join Walk With Me. Creating a profile that intentionally misrepresents you as being under 18 is not allowed.
Profile Photos
We want your profile to celebrate your authentic self! That's why we require at least one profile photo that depicts only you and clearly shows your full face.
Username and Display Name
Members may use initials, abbreviations, nicknames, full names, or middle names. You don't have to use your legal name, but your username should authentically represent the name you use in everyday life.
Content and Conduct Guidelines
Adult Nudity and Sexual Activity
Walk With Me is a community for walking, fitness, and friendship. We don't permit nude, sexually explicit, or sexually suggestive profile content.
Bullying and Abusive Conduct
Our community is for creating kind connections through walking. We don't allow content or behavior that harasses, bullies, or targets any individual or group.
Child Safety
We have zero tolerance for any form of child endangerment or exploitation.
Commercial and Promotional Activity
Walk With Me is not a marketplace. We don't allow using the platform for unsolicited commercial or promotional purposes.
Controlled Goods and Substances
Members may not use our platform to buy, sell, supply, distribute, or promote illegal drugs, controlled substances, or their paraphernalia.
Terrorism and Violent Extremism
We don't allow content or behavior that promotes, incites, glorifies, or supports terrorist or violent extremist groups.
Identity-Based Hate
We aim to foster a diverse and inclusive walking community. We prohibit content or behavior that promotes hate, dehumanization, degradation, or contempt against any group.
Inauthentic Profiles
Walk With Me celebrates authenticity. We expect all members to represent themselves accurately.
Misinformation
We prohibit sharing demonstrably false or misleading content that could cause harm or negatively impact individual or public safety.
Physical and Sexual Violence
We have zero tolerance for any content, imagery, or behavior that commits or threatens acts of physical or sexual violence.
Walk Safety and Conduct
Members are expected to show up for walks they've committed to or communicate cancellations respectfully.
Scams, Fraud, and Theft
We prohibit any scam, fraud, or theft activity intended to defraud or manipulate members.
Sexual Harassment
We do not tolerate sexual harassment in any form.
Spam
We do not permit unwanted or irrelevant content sent in bulk or high frequency.
Mental Health and Self-Injury
We care deeply about our members and understand some may struggle with mental health, self-injury, suicidal thoughts, substance use, or eating disorders.
Violent and Graphic Content
We don't permit violent, graphic, or gory content.
Platform Manipulation
We foster genuine connections. We don't allow unauthorized automated behaviors that undermine our platform.
Safety Reporting
Safety is our top priority at Walk With Me. We use human moderators and automated systems to monitor accounts and interactions for content that violates our Community Guidelines or Terms of Service.
Enforcement Philosophy
All members must comply with these Community Guidelines. If you behave in a way that violates our guidelines, values, or poses potential harm to Walk With Me or its members, we may take action.

- Permanently banning you from Walk With Me
