Following a guidebook in a foreign city means stopping, scrolling and losing the moment. Walk With Me audio tours tell the story of each place as you arrive, and every tour is narrated in Japanese too, with the same researched routes and stories in clear, polite Japanese.
Each script is translated in full and proofread before it is narrated, so the stories sound natural rather than like a translation read aloud. Everyone who joins your walk in the free app hears every stop on their own phone, in step with you, and each person can listen in their own language. - Every route is reviewed stop by stop before anything is narrated: one walkable line, usually six to eight stops a few minutes apart, with no backtracking and no long empty stretches. The stories are researched place by place and written to be heard on the street, so you look up at the right building at the right moment.

Choose a tour and try it
Each tour shows its route, length and stops. Play the intro and the first three stops free, then unlock the whole tour with a one-time purchase.

Pick your language
The tour starts in the app's language when it is narrated in it, and in English otherwise. Change it any time from the language bar in the player.

Download before you go
Save the tour on Wi-Fi, charge your phone and pack headphones. Downloaded narration plays without a signal.

Start at the first stop
Choose Just me, With a friend or Others can join, and walk to stop one. When you arrive the app chimes, or sends a notification if your screen is off, and you tap to listen.

Walk on at your own pace
Between stops the app stays quiet and the map shows the way to the next one. Stop for a coffee whenever you like; the next story waits until you get there, and an outro rounds off the walk.

Each stop is a story of a minute or two about exactly where you are standing, with a quiet bed of local music under the voice.
