English is where every Walk With Me audio tour starts. Each route is written and narrated in English first, so every city in the library, from Budapest and Rome to Boston, Kyoto and Sydney, has an English narration ready to play.
The narration is warm and unhurried, with a soft bed of local music underneath. It sounds like a well-read friend walking beside you rather than a museum audio guide reading out dates, and it is written for listening on a busy street: short sentences, one idea at a time, and a clear cue for where to look.
Travelling with someone who prefers another language? Your ticket already includes every narration of the tour, and when you walk together each of you can listen in your own language, stop by stop, in sync.
Good to know before you go

- Listen together, in sync
- Start the tour with a friend, or open your walk so others can join. Everyone who joins your walk in the free app hears every stop on their own phone, in step with you, and each person can listen in their own language. One purchase covers the group; the tour stays yours, so friends can't replay it on their own later.
- Carefully curated routes
- Every route is reviewed stop by stop before anything is narrated: one walkable line, usually six to eight stops a few minutes apart, with no backtracking and no long empty stretches. The stories are researched place by place and written to be heard on the street, so you look up at the right building at the right moment.
- Free to try
- The introduction and the first three stops of every tour are free, in every city. Walk them, listen, and only buy if you want the rest of the route.
- Works without a signal

Choose a tour and try it
Each tour shows its route, length and stops. Play the intro and the first three stops free, then unlock the whole tour with a one-time purchase.

Pick your language
The tour starts in the app's language when it is narrated in it, and in English otherwise. Change it any time from the language bar in the player.

Download before you go
Save the tour on Wi-Fi, charge your phone and pack headphones. Downloaded narration plays without a signal.

Start at the first stop
Choose Just me, With a friend or Others can join, and walk to stop one. When you arrive the app chimes, or sends a notification if your screen is off, and you tap to listen.

Walk on at your own pace
Between stops the app stays quiet and the map shows the way to the next one. Stop for a coffee whenever you like; the next story waits until you get there, and an outro rounds off the walk.
What to expect on the walk

Most routes are 30 to 60 minutes of walking. With the stories and the stops you will want to linger at, plan on one to two hours.
Short stories, not lectures
Each stop is a story of a minute or two about exactly where you are standing, with a quiet bed of local music under the voice.
