From the second season on, Game of Thrones filmed its capital's outdoor scenes in Dubrovnik. The Dubrovnik walk follows them: the park where Joffrey's wedding feast was filmed, the fortress that stood in for the castle of the kings, and the staircase where Cersei's walk of atonement began.
Seville played two places at once: the Water Gardens of Dorne at the Alcázar, and the vaults under the Red Keep where the dragon skulls are kept. The Seville walk adds the city's other screen roles too, including a city on Naboo for Star Wars.
Under every scene there's a real story: the Republic of Ragusa, the small, rich city state that built Dubrovnik's walls to stay free, and the palaces and plazas of Seville. Spoilers throughout, since the show ended in 2019.

- Outdoor locations
- In Dubrovnik, the throne room and castle interiors were studio sets, so the walk visits the outdoor locations you can actually stand in.
- Tickets and heat
- Fort Lovrijenac is on Dubrovnik's City Walls ticket, and in Seville it's best to buy Alcázar tickets online in advance. Both cities get hot in summer, so go early or late.
- Expect spoilers
- Both walks follow the show's story, right to the end.
