Tuileries Garden
This formal garden stretches between the Louvre and Place de la Concorde, its gravel paths lined with manicured trees, classical statues, and round fountains where you can pull up a green metal chair and rest. Children sail toy boats in the ponds while others enjoy the small funfair rides near Concorde. Framed views open up toward the Louvre's glass pyramid on one end and the Champs Elysees on the other. It's a graceful, open air walk right through the center of the city.
Le Marais
Cobblestone streets in the Marais wind past centuries old mansions, trendy boutiques, and cozy falafel shops all packed close together.
