Your city walk, told in Spanish

Walk With Me audio tours tell the story of each place the moment you reach it, so you keep your eyes on the street instead of your screen. Every tour is narrated in Spanish as well, with the same researched routes and the same stories, in clear Spanish that is easy to follow whether you are from Madrid, Mexico City or Buenos Aires.

The scripts are translated in full and proofread before they are narrated, never dubbed on the fly. Local names keep their own spelling and sound, so you still hear the Duomo and the Brandenburger Tor, with everything around them in Spanish.

From Rome and Paris to New York, Tokyo and Bangkok, pick a city below. The Spanish narration is part of your ticket, along with every other language of the tour, and there is no subscription.

Good to know before you go

The things travellers ask us most, answered up front.

One ticket, every language

Buy a tour once and every narration of it comes with it: English, German, French, Spanish, Japanese and Arabic. Switch language in the player whenever you like, at no extra cost, and keep the tour for good. There is no subscription.

Listen together, in sync
Start the tour with a friend, or open your walk so others can join. Everyone who joins your walk in the free app hears every stop on their own phone, in step with you, and each person can listen in their own language. One purchase covers the group; the tour stays yours, so friends can't replay it on their own later.
Carefully curated routes
Every route is reviewed stop by stop before anything is narrated: one walkable line, usually six to eight stops a few minutes apart, with no backtracking and no long empty stretches. The stories are researched place by place and written to be heard on the street, so you look up at the right building at the right moment.
Free to try
The introduction and the first three stops of every tour are free, in every city. Walk them, listen, and only buy if you want the rest of the route.
Works without a signal
Download a tour before you set out and the narration plays offline, so roaming charges and patchy reception don't get in the way. The street map itself still needs a connection.
Try it on the website too
Every tour has its own page on this site with the route map, every stop and the full story in writing. You can play the free stops right in your browser before you download anything.

How to take an audio tour, step by step

From download to the last stop, this is what a tour actually looks like. The short video is a real walk in Budapest, filmed in the app.

  1. 1

    Get the app

Download Walk With Me free on iPhone or Android, open the audio tours and pick the city you are visiting.

  2. 2

Choose a tour and try it

Each tour shows its route, length and stops. Play the intro and the first three stops free, then unlock the whole tour with a one-time purchase.

  3. 3

    Pick your language

The tour starts in the app's language when it is narrated in it, and in English otherwise. Change it any time from the language bar in the player.

  4. 4

    Download before you go

Save the tour on Wi-Fi, charge your phone and pack headphones. Downloaded narration plays without a signal.

  5. 5

    Start at the first stop

Choose Just me, With a friend or Others can join, and walk to stop one. When you arrive the app chimes, or sends a notification if your screen is off, and you tap to listen.

  6. 6

Walk on at your own pace

Between stops the app stays quiet and the map shows the way to the next one. Stop for a coffee whenever you like; the next story waits until you get there, and an outro rounds off the walk.

What to expect on the walk

  1. One to two hours, all in

Most routes are 30 to 60 minutes of walking. With the stories and the stops you will want to linger at, plan on one to two hours.

  2. Short stories, not lectures

Each stop is a story of a minute or two about exactly where you are standing, with a quiet bed of local music under the voice.

  3. Your pace, your schedule

No meeting point and no departure time. Start first thing in the morning or stretch the walk across a lazy afternoon.

  4. Eyes up, phone down

The app keeps track of the route, so you spend the walk looking at the city instead of a guidebook. One earbud is plenty and keeps you aware of traffic.

Try a tour on the website first

Handcrafted for Your Time in the City

These tours aren't a checklist of sights. They're made to be walked slowly, headphones on, eyes on the city.

Meditative and Immersive

Each story is told where it happened. The app chimes when you reach a stop, one tap starts the story, and the stretch between stops is yours to take in at your own pace.

Handcrafted With Care

We choose every route and every stop ourselves and shape each story with care, so the time you have in the city goes to the places most worth seeing.

Better With Someone

Every walk is better with someone beside you, so if you can bring a friend, we really hope you do. That's why one purchase covers everyone you invite: they join your tour free.
